For a single-prize drawing where every valid entry has the same chance, the simple model is your valid entries divided by the total valid entries. If you hold 10 tickets in a fully sold 2,000-ticket raffle, your chance is 10 / 2,000, or 1 in 200.
The math is easy. Getting an honest denominator is the hard part.
Hard total cap vs. per-person cap
These two numbers are often confused. A hard total cap limits the entire drawing. A per-person cap only limits one entrant.
